How can I get connected with others?

Most adults attend one worship service where they enjoy the beautiful and inspiring music of the choir, orchestra, ensembles, and soloists. The music is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message from Pastor Chappell. This service is a little over one hour in length. Also, during the 10:00 am hour, there are Connection Groups. These classes are smaller group settings where you are invited to meet people, enjoy perhaps some coffee and donuts, and hear a teaching lesson more directly applicable to your life-stage. The best way to get to know people at Lancaster Baptist Church is to visit one of these Connection Groups.

Children

Children

Where do I take my children?

Starting with excellent nurseries, there is something special for every age child. At every service there are safe, clean, and highly staffed nurseries for children three years old and under. For children three years old through sixth grade there are fun, friendly, and Bible-centered classes. These classes are staffed with trained, friendly, and well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child.

Our campus has a lot of buildings, which to a guest can seem overwhelming at first. It's not as complicated as it looks, and we would like to help you find the appropriate nurseries, classes, and services for every person in your family. Our greeters and ushers are located around campus as well as in the lobby of the main worship center and will gladly help direct and even escort you to the right place. You can see what room your child's class is in by clicking the appropriate link: Nurseries, Preschool, 1st–2nd grade, 3rd–4th grade, 5th–6th grade.

We offer exciting and safe venues for your children in each age group. Check in at the Children's Welcome Center in the Administration lobby or in the North Auditorium and a member of our children's team will help you. If you prefer to keep your young child with you in a service, please sit toward the back of the auditorium. A Parent's Room is also available in the Worship Center lobby.

Our Mother's Rooms, located in the West Wing nurseries and North Building, are available to all mothers with infants.

Teens

What about my teens?

Our student ministries are broken down into two main divisions: junior high, and high school. Within each of these divisions, there are several classes. Teens attend a class at 10:00 am and then a worship service with their parents at 8:30 am or 11:00 am.
