Fad diets, car commercials, political figures, and even fast food ads all promise some form of happiness. In today’s culture, we have more information, connection, and wealth than ever before. Yet happiness seems ever-farther outside of our reach.

Is real happiness even possible? If it is, where does it come from and how do we get it? The Bible has a lot to say about happiness. God is our Creator and He knows what brings lasting happiness and abiding joy.

Now, God does not promise endless days of sunshine and rainbows, but He does offer an ongoing deep meaningful relationship with Him. Through Jesus Christ, God provides peace, acceptance, purpose, and joy—the stuff we really long for that a new house, job, or car just can’t provide.
